Complete PC Solutions had setup a server and network for us in our Auckland office. The system worked well and we were happy with it but it did mean we had to do backups ourselves and have them tested periodically if we wanted to be sure everything was going to be there if it was ever required. Also because we were security conscious we often got our system checked and brought up to date as we could not afford to loose or have any data/information stolen. Our business subsequently relocated to Christchurch. Andrew had told me about a new company they were starting called Virtual Server. I liked the sound of it because it meant we had no maintenance or backups to do but we could rest assured they are getting done by professionals. We decided to get rid of our server which was only 6 months old just because we were going to be down in Christchurch and we wanted the ease and
benefits offered by Virtual Server. We have found Virtual Server is great and we are grateful we made the change. Just a few weeks after moving to Christchurch our new offices were burgled and our equipment was stolen. Thanks to Virtual Server we had no fear of anyone being able to use our data and we had no loss of data or systems. We just logged in using different laptops and we were instantly up and running without any data loss what so ever.
