Our business operates with partners around the country and we are often overseas for extended periods. We needed to simply increase the communication, management and planning between our team members regardless of where they were at the time. We already had a server but it was not capable of allowing multiple concurrent connections from remote locations. We priced up replacing our server, or using an ASP platform like Virtual Server. After getting quotes from several different companies we went with Virtual Server because they offered as much or more than the other companies at a better price.? We decided to go the ASP (Application Service Provider) way as we saw a flat monthly cost and a professionally hosted system as being more efficient with high security and a lower cost than getting a new server installed setup and maintained. We also liked the fact that we would never need to replace it and we could simply upscale or downscale at any time. We have been very happy with Virtual Server and have found it has met our objectives very well. We have also found the service has been responsive and effective. We now put our full trust in the team at Complete PC and Virtual Server for all our IT equipment and servicing requirements. The things that we have really found beneficial are:
- leaving work and being able to login from home or even overseas and finding everything exactly as we left it.
- The ability to share information and calendar schedules with others in our team.
- The simplicity with which we can get a file restored and running if accidentally lost, deleted or overwritten.
- Not need to spend our time or money with a system that is underperforming.
- Any questions we have are answered quickly and efficiently by the team at Virtual Server.
All in all we are very happy with our decision and we would be very happy to talk with anyone considering Virtual Server.
